About the activity

Discuss personal safety and share top tips with your pupils to help keep them safer when they are travelling and using public transport.

There are lots of ways you can promote personal safety messages, here are some ideas:

  • Organise a session with your local Met Police Safer Transport Team to talk to pupils about some simple steps they can take to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime
  • Put together an assembly with the help of you TfL Explorers Ambassadors
  • Include top safety tips in your school newsletters
  • Write an article or blog for your school website
  • Launch a personal safety poster competition

Take a look at the newsletter extract for some key safety tips you can share with your pupils in class or in your school's newsletter or website.
