About the activity
Great news! Each workshop in this activity card is worth three stories towards your accreditation.
The TfL Explorers Ambassadors Virtual Sessions for schools is a free teacher-led activity open to all primary schools.
The pack contains two 45-minute workshops designed to build confidence, creativity and collaboration among your pupils. Each one is accompanied by videos with a virtual presenter guiding you through the activities and worksheets in the pack.
- Workshop 1: Planning Your Summer Competition
In this interactive session, the whole class will work together to design one exciting Summer Active Travel competition for your school. Pupils will take part in decision-making games, pair work and class discussions, helping them feel a sense of ownership over the final idea. - Workshop 2: Communication Skills
This session focuses on building pupils’ public speaking confidence. They’ll take part in fun breathing and vocal warm-ups, then explore simple techniques for presenting and pitching ideas clearly and persuasively.
No prior preparation is needed beyond printing the worksheets.
This activity requires three pieces of evidence. Don’t worry, it’s easy to upload all the evidence in one document - just copy and paste your evidence into this document
