Westminster
About
Westminster City Council recognises the importance of sustainable and active modes of transport for residents, workers and visitors. They seek to promote safer, healthier and more sustainable ways to travel across the borough.
All school related road safety requests are logged via the Travel for Life programme to assist their assessment under their School Travel Plan Programme. Teachers, parents, pupils, governors and members of the local community are key stakeholders in this process.
The assessments ensure the prioritisation, and provision of funding and resource that each school may require for active travel and/or road safety interventions across the coming years.
