Look out Camden, the bike bus is coming!

All aboard the bike bus!

It’s well known that exercise in the morning can boost children’s concentration at school, but imagine if that exercise also felt like a party!

That’s exactly what Charlotte Claydon offers for schools across Camden by leading a weekly bike bus.

Children meet at a designated point on Thursday mornings (accompanied by a number of responsible adults, of course!) to set off on the most fun journey in town. From bright colours to pumping tunes, to singalongs and whistles, this is one bus it’s impossible to miss!

Inspired by similar schemes in the USA, the bike bus helps children to build their cycling confidence, make friends, and get some vital exercise and fresh air.

By creating the bike bus, Charlotte wants to create memories for the children that will last a lifetime. She said their weekly Thursday trip creates a “total feeling of joy and happiness” – and it’s not hard to see why.
