About the activity

Put together a lesson or assembly adapted to the needs and level of your class to teach them about the environmental benefits of active travel.

Alternatively, use the Walkit website in class to allow pupils to discover how much carbon dioxide they can stop being released by walking rather than taking the car.

This activity could be incorporated into the health benefits of active travel activity. See Resources for more inspiration and lesson ideas.
